The mission of the Fire Instructors and Officers Association of New Hampshire, FIOANH, is to promote firefighter health and safety through the furtherance of progressive fire training, education, and leadership.
The FIOANH strives to develop professional fire instructors and officers by sharing the lessons of the veterans who have come before us and mentoring those who will come after us.
The FIOANH recognizes excellence through the John T. Ayers Fire Instructor of the Year Award and the Peter J. Carver Fire Officer of the Year Award.
The FIOANH works to include all active and retired fire service professionals, paid and volunteer, who are involved with training and supervision of fire department operations throughout the state as well as those interested in furthering the interests of the fire service.
